Junior School Club Registration – Summer 2026
Please find below some more information regarding the staff led clubs on offer in the Summer term. If you have any questions regarding any of the clubs, please do get in touch with the school office.
Athletics Club
In Athletics Club we work on three main areas: running (longer distance & sprints as well as relays), jumping (standing long jump and triple jump) and throwing (vortex howlers, tennis balls, foam javelins etc). We run a rotation of these activities on the top and bottom fields in order that all skills are covered over two week periods. The children usually work in year groups with a lead adult/s. This club is great preparation for Sports Days and for all-round fitness. It is suitable for all abilities as long as there is a willingness to be active and have fun!
Drama Club
Come and join our interactive and hands-on club for those interested in the performing arts! Through performance- based games and exercises, drama club will teach children to express themselves, gain confidence and develop respect for their own and each other’s individuality.
We’ll dive into exciting scripts and children will step into the roles of different characters and work together to create a mini production to perform for our school audience
Board Game Club
Come and join our Board Games Club every Thursday lunchtime! This club is a fun, relaxed space where you can enjoy classic and modern board games, learn new rules, practise turn‑taking, problem‑solving, and teamwork — all while having a brilliant time with friends.
From strategy games to cooperative challenges, there’s something for everyone. All pupils are welcome to join in, make new friends, and discover the joy of playing together.
We’re looking forward to lots of laughter, learning, and friendly competition each week!
Photography Club
Love taking photos? Curious about cameras or creative angles? Join our Photography Club and discover how to turn everyday moments into amazing images. Each week we explore new techniques, try fun challenges, and head out on mini photo‑missions around the school. Everyone can learn something new and share their unique view of the world. Come along and start seeing things differently. You must provide your own charged digital camera and lead.
Latin and Ballroom Dance
Our Ballroom and Latin Dance Club is a fun and energetic space where children can learn exciting dance styles while building confidence and creativity. Dancers will explore popular Latin dances such as Jive, Cha Cha, and Samba, as well as some classic ballroom styles.
The club will be led by Miss Matthews, who previously danced competitively in Ballroom and Latin and has experience teaching these dance styles and techniques.
Along the way, we will also create our own routines to songs from musicals, incorporating elements of ballroom and Latin dance into fun and exciting performances. It’s a fantastic way for children to develop coordination, teamwork, and a love of dance, all while having lots of fun!
Bracelet Making Club
Join our Bracelet Making Club for a relaxed, creative space open to everyone from Reception to Year 6! We’ll play with colours, beads, and patterns while making fun bracelets to keep or share. Older children can help the younger children, making it a lovely team vibe each week
