Information for parents and carers
Welcome to Eastwick
We are delighted that your child has been offered a place at Eastwick, and we look forward to welcoming your family to the school.
Our aim is simple but ambitious. We want every child to leave us “ready for everything”. Children flourish here because of our friendly atmosphere, strong values and exceptional facilities. Our site includes our own swimming pool, woodland learning areas, large sports fields, well-equipped classrooms, libraries, music room and excellent computing resources.
We keep young minds busy, active and curious, while helping children develop lifelong values of respect, responsibility, care and honesty.
This page brings together the key information you may need as your child prepares to start at Eastwick. If there is anything you would like to ask, please contact the school office — we will be very happy to help.

Reception at Eastwick: what to expect
Starting school is an exciting step. We work hard to make sure every child feels happy, confident and secure from the very beginning.
In Reception, children learn through a balance of play, exploration and structured teaching, following the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum. Our experienced staff create a calm and caring environment where children quickly settle into school life, make friends and begin to develop the skills they need for the future.
Reception pupils also benefit from our extensive outdoor space and excellent facilities, giving them plenty of opportunities to stay active, curious and engaged every day.
