Eastwick Curriculum
- Ready for Success
- Ready for Challenge
- Ready for Opportunity
- An Eastwick Education: Ready for Everything
The Eastwick curriculum is designed to ‘bring out the best’ in Eastwick children and prepare them to be ‘Ready for Everything’ in their futures, in terms of:
- Success in the next stage of their education and beyond
- their ability to navigate life’s personal Challenges
- understanding their place in communities at global, national and local levels and seize the Opportunity of the future
Our curriculum reflects everything that we are as a diverse school community and everything we aspire to, for the children who spend their precious primary school years with us.
Eastwick Behaviour
At Eastwick, children are expected to show exceptional conduct at all times. For this to happen requires teaching of behaviour as part of the curriculum.
Our school behaviours are simple and easy to remember: Ready, Respectful and Safe. We expect all children to adhere to these in the different environments around the school. Children are taught these behaviours throughout the school day, through planned events such as assemblies, and unplanned interactions. All staff use the language of Ready, Respectful and Safe when correcting unexpected behaviour choices, or recognising positive behaviour choices.
